you have a corrupted save or corrupted game file. delete and reinstall your save if you can do earlier copies of it. if you start a new game and it happens again, delete your game and reinstall it. if you're on PC: go to your steam games library in steam, right click the game, verify integrity of game cache. that redownloads a new copy of any corrupted or missing files(minus saves which are local only).
