He had phased through to one of the outlying arches of the structure, crouched beneath one of the massive dome-shield canopies that shielded the audience from the weather... And from most unwanted visitors. Not that any of that would deter him. Eric Cooper's memory had been a little hazy of late, to say the least. He remembered all of the things he had learned in school, or from training, or from conversations that he could not explicitly recall, but it was like viewing the answers to questions he could not see. It was an incomplete picture, but he was hoping that saving these beings would help him to remember, which was what he so desperately wanted... As well as fill the inexplicable void in his heart. Currently, the beings in question were engaging swift, cunning beasts in hand to hand combat, ballsy stuff, and didn't look like they needed any help with that. What they needed was an escape route, and Eric could easily provide that. In a soundless flurry of motion, his left arm begin to reconstruct itself until it formed a smooth-bored cannon, which he saw with a holographic ammo counter and a holosight. Its target: the support beam holding the "canopy" above the arena. Without hesitation he fired, and all hell broke loose. Under coilgun fire, the canopy fizzled out in a miasma of light and electricity, and burned the now yelling audience with flaming debris. Some guards had begun to panic as people flooded out of the exits, and looked for the culprit, hoping to punish the being who disrupted their pastime. And he had no intention of letting them down.
