SPRING UPDATE - Thoughts on the 'Significant Light Level' Increase?
Anyone have any Idea's what they will be? or What they want them to be and Why?
As It's Bungie, I'm dreading that they will give us an increase to 330 Light.
Personally I would like something like 360 or something Higher this way we have a long way to go but then again I don't want the stupid thing of easy leveling up to Level 40 in the Taken King.
Thoughts?

1 回复340 or 365 I figure, like the old light level 34 and max weapon damage of 365 in year one. Old Raids with new Raid perks minus the primary elemental damage. There's a lot of taken-tots that have not played any previous Raids. And then there's the vets who are playing old Raids with new weapons and speed running through it which I don't think Bungie likes. It's their game and the want us to play it their way. Sadly, this has been done far too many times on Bungie's part. Bungie wants players to play all aspects of their game within their control.

1 回复I'm just finishing up leveling all my exotics. This light increase better involve something similar to etheric light for exotics. I can't keep leveling the same shit over and over and over again.

According to Bungie, differences of light of around ten equates to about 1 level in the old system (so a 320 vs a 310 would be equivalent to a 34 vs a 33). In that old system, a difference of 3 or more levels was fairly significant, which would equate to 30 or more light in the new system. It's my guess that the new light level will be 350+. This is strictly a guess based on precedent. Until it's announced, all guesses are speculative at best.

I think it'll be 350 or more. The increase needs to be sufficient to encourage enough people to keep on grinding, not only for new stuff but to get their current 320 gear increased. I also think we'll see a pile more of the yr1 gear getting pulled forward. -
My guess is a rock solid 350. I just hope they make some new content along with it and not just "do these quests in these reused areas, or do the old raids etc". The old raids would keep me active for 2-3 runs tho, but more than that, nah

2 回复Significant [u]should[/u] be greater than 330. My guess is 340-360. I hope they bring back some old stuff, as well as introducing new missions, strikes, or a hard mode patrol similar to what the community has been dreaming of. We just have to wait and see
