So Bungie has completely abandoned PVE
So in the new update the trend was PVP, PVP, PVP, PVP..............pve raid fix.
For the love of batman can we get some sort of PVE event or update?! Some of us are sick of playing the same damn strikes over and over again.
If you want Destiny to be CoD in space, just push an update that erases all PVE content already, put us out of our misery.
Please Bungie, while I appreciate the positive changes to PVP, please get off your knees for the PVP community.

10 回复Relax we had the pve events and we will get more they are hard at work on it be patient. In the meantime show your support with purchasing some emotes. This is the best game ever and we need to keep supporting them like they support us.

10 回复In hindsight the whole "Year one expansion content plans were unsustainable..." statements should have been MAJOR red flags. Are there people willing to spend $20 for "The Vex Void" right now? Of course. Are there ENOUGH of these people? Judging by the "unsustainable" statement, the answer is an affirmative NO. As it stands Destiny One is dead in the water propped up by microtransactions and ephemeral regurgitated content. My guess is that while TTK arrived to rave reviews, actual purchase #s were not as great and the player base eroded significantly in the ensuing months. IMO Destiny's PvE lifespan is a victim of its own design. There just aren't enough RPG elements in the game to allow for min/maxing builds to justify multiple playthroughs of the same content, and the end game content isn't difficult enough to warrant said min/maxing. For example in Destiny once you got a Gjallarhorn in Y1 you were done. You won. But in games like Diablo, you could get better or worse versions of Gjallarhorns. You could conceivable get a god rolled Gjallarhorn that no one has, as well as gear that synergized with it. That's what kept people coming back. Expect major design changes in Destiny 2 as the designers learn this lesson. Also expect that any and all content originally planned for Y2 expacs to be rolled into Destiny 2. Bungie is retreating to fight another day... the casualty? Destiny One as we know it.

There has to be new PvE coming soon. It is a must. It's been too long. PvP players are passionate about their favorite activity in Destiny but the fact is that more Destiny players are in it for the PvE and have little interest in PvP. I'm an omnivore player (into PvP & PvE) but I didn't use to be. It took me awhile to get into the crucible. Once I did I learned to enjoy it. Since TTK, Bungie put too many eggs into the PvP basket. Once you've played through the story missions it's all about the raid and PvP. The raid RNG is disappointing and PvP became such a hot mess that loyal players gave up on it. I'm in a clan and have a lot of friends on my list. 2/3rd of them haven't played Destiny since SRL. That's when the SBMM was introduced. They played SRL, once that was over did some raids (disappointing drops) then IB (horrible lag) and gave up. New PvE would go a long way to save this game but a lot of problems need to be addressed to keep once active players from quitting again.

For everyone saying that making PvE content is to costly when compared to PvP... All bungie has to do is tweak some old codes (codes that are already in the game and have been on the game since day one) what we want the most is not just new content but something new to do! For the people wondering what I'm talking about its the old raids... Revamp them, to the new current level, they wouldn't have to spend any money on it and it would make everyone happy. With that they could also bring back all the old strikes... Destiny has so much great content and wonderful stuff in it, but sadly most of it was left behind when year 2 hit. Think about it, if they did bring them back it wouldn't cost them anything and it would make everyone happy! Shyt they could even take out the elemental aspect of the primary weapons on the old raid that way they don't get over used, I'm sure everyone would still be happy with that!

3 回复The next big update will probably be leveling old content to match the current. I.E. Raids, strikes, wolves, POE, etc. I wouldn't expect anything new.

They marketed this game as an open world, co-op shooter with MMO aspects... A year and a half later, what they are exclusively pushing is the same old PVP that every other shooter that's come out for the last decade has... This isn't Halo... People didn't buy this game for PVP. They've abandoned what made this game different from the rest, and then wonder why people aren't playing anymore... If I wanted to play a game strictly for PVP, there are at least half a dozen better alternatives...

3 回复Especially since only 15 percent of the player base play PvP. Bungie is lazy, or, it's like I've said before, they don't have a clue where to go with this broke game, that I still play...

1 回复Bungie has pretty much slaughtered their cash cow because of the lack of PVE support. Many players leave and are gone for good, their not coming back. As for the PVP content. I love PVP, but not in Destiny. Give me big maps and constantly changing maps like in the COD series. Besides, dedicated servers make a huge difference in play. Destiny's PVP lacks in almost every area but the worst part being their just not fun. There just another form of grinding. But now there is nothing to grind for, nothing worth getting and no reason to even think you will become a legend. Its sad that they gave up on the game so quickly. It had a lot of potential if they could have just had a plan and stuck with it.
