Dont listen to anyone! Go to skywatch find a spinmetal source. Grab it then summon you sparrow and book it back into the building until you enter the next area. Return to the same spinmetal source and have a happy farm.

It literally takes longer to do this than farm rocket yard. Ex. Finding chest + Engrams with a bonus ghosts can give insane amounts of SM. If you were going to do this trick like the old days, it's actually easier to do rocket yard and wait until there is the SM on the left next to the servitor and a chest in the room. Reason being, you don't have to travel through the building making turns and such. [spoiler]Key farming was great in RY. But not as good for SM farming. Just my opinion, I did get 18 keys this way during the exploit. About 16 hours of farming.. The ghost just gives so much now compared to grabbing 1 SM over and over.[/spoiler]

But you only get like 1 sometimes 2, and you can only get it maybe 4 times per minute on avg. But if you just run around killing enemies while grabbing the chests/SM. You can get engrams too. You can get up to 4/5 SM from 1 engram from enemies or from the chests. So why not make the time worthwhile? Also leads to more glimmer, weapon parts, armor materials, strange coins, motes, etc.
