When I use TLW and a sniper, I don't do it to protect my stats. I've literally been using TLW and a sniper for year in Destiny. My first ever raid completion in the vault of glass gave me a Last Word. You can check my stats. Sure, I used it when it was broken, but I also was one of the very very few to still use it after year 2 dropped and we were in the PR/shotty meta.
I use them because they're my favorite weapons for crucible and always have been, why should I be ridiculed by a sub-par player on Destiny's forums?

The very first statement of your entire thread is to ridicule those using the gun. Whether it works or not you're attempting to immediately assert that you are a better player when you are not, and probably died to this combo too many times and it set your butthurt meter flying off the charts and onto these forums.
