[b]Location: Space, Near Earth[/b] A Warp-Rift opens in the empty darkness near the ruined empires capital planet, and a small fleet of Battle Barges and Frigates take up a holding pattern just outside of the planets gravitational reach, waiting for something. No transmissions are issued forth into the void, and no activity occurs near the fleet, save for the occasional destruction of space-debris by the fleets point defense systems. [b]Location: Battle Barge [i]Hammer[/i][/b] A small force of Astartes and Ascendant troops gather in the drop pod hanger, and prepare themselves for imminent deployment, as per their training.
