It's the person behind the wheel that decides to run over somebody not the car itself. The same can be said about somebody using a gun. It's the individual that's the problem not the guns or cars.

I wish that were true... Yesterday, a bunch of monster trucks flattened my house and ate my family. I guess they were hungry. I'm hiding in a cave right now. I don't know what time it is, or how long I've spent in this god forsaken place. Monster trucks have an extremely acute sense of smell. It's only a matter of time until they pick up my scent and find me. THEY'RE GOING TO EAT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CARS DEFINITELY KILL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF WHILE THERE'S STILL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF WHILE THERE'S STI

12 回复Cars are regulated, you don't let anyone get behind a wheel, there is process you have to go through to be able to drive one. Guns anyone can buy one with no training or experience and minimal background checks and buy ammunition to go with it. In Australia, anyone can get a gun unless your background check finds you unsuitable (mental illness, history of violence etc.). To be legally about to buy and use one you must sit a test as well as a practical demonstration that you are able to use it safely and correctly. Your license posted out to you in a few months once everything is verified and then you can buy your guns. This lowers accidental deaths because of mishandling (shooting yourself or family) because you know how to take care of it. Criminals with get guns anyway so why not lower accidental deaths and make it harder for dangerous people to get guns. Also there is a reason assault rifles are called assault rifles, not protection rifles.

What if a car from the movie "Cars" hit someone? I agree with you on your gun logic too. People crying for increased gun control don't realize that if the person using a gun wasn't crazy or unfit to use one, murder wouldn't happen. Increasing gun control will only make it harder for law abiding citizens to get guns.

Hmm! I think you will find the difference is that cars are intended to be a mode of transport, and that deaths involving cars occur through improper use. Meanwhile, you can use a gun exactly as intended and designed, and cause plenty of death.

1 回复- The purpose of a gun is to kill but can be used other wise it doesn't mean it's ok - The purpose of a pencil is to write with but can be used to kill with it doesn't mean it should be banned - T-shirts are used as clothes but it can be used to strangle someone it doesn't mean it should be used as weapons - A grenade is used to kill people but if someone used it to protect his home it doesn't mean it is the right choice it even acceptable - ... etc Now if if you still can't understand what i just wrote then you should be isolated as you are not capable of any sort of information processing .. and your brain capabilities are below animals. End of discussion

19 回复There is no gun debate. Both side are required for a debate. The anti-gun people try this crap and talk to themselves I guess. American guns are not going anywhere. Millions of people who would rather start civil war 2 than give up our guns.

22 回复Great, lets make sure that everyone who has a gun is tested, licensed, and insures and registers their weapons.
