Also, I suggest you watch this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vaRsjqDdeew If you don't have the patience, skip to around the 45 min. marker. Bungie themselves (Sage and John) are explaining the state of weapons like the 1000 yd. Stare and MIDA.

I really don't care. The only reason why people think snipers (ex. The 1000 Yard Stare) are op is because everyone is using them. Snipers are actually in a really good spot, but due to the fact that they can res snipe and can deal high damage, no one uses anything else. You say snipers are op, but really it's just because you get killed by them a lot.
