Destiny and Drug use
I'm sorry, I might go into a bit of a rant here.
But I've been noticing a trend recently where in every party I join there is at least one and usually multiple people telling tall tails about how high they are.
Now honestly, I don't care that you use whatever. Some of the people I regularly play with do some type of drug or another.
What baffles me is how some people tend to think they're somehow badasses for having the ability to pop a pill in their mouths. Nobody cares that it's "legal in your state". I'm from holland, do you think we go around advertising our drug use to every random person we meet? Not only does it make you look kind of dumb, but do you even realize there's also younger kids playing this game that might actually think it's kinda cool that you get to stay home all day, smoke weed and play video games while you're ignoring your crying child in the background?
I hate to be that guy, but damn, show some dignity.

1 回复I smoke weed every raid I go into, although I don't tell everyone in the group how high I am. I don't really speak often though. I mute my mic every time I take a hit. So yes I do "Drugs" but I keep it to myself.

10 回复Drugs are bad, kids. Learn from my mistakes. It was way back in college, when I was a young and impressionable youth. One fall semester, just before finals, I was stressed out from studying for so many hours every day. My roommate suggested I should relax for a little while and do some "mariwana" with him. I had never tried it before, and if I had known then what would happen, I never would have touched it. I took a little convincing, but eventually I agreed to try it. We both popped two mariwanas that night. A week later I woke up in Juarez, Mexico with a missing kidney, a tattoo on my c*ck, and a note stapled to my forearm that said "sorry amigo. Business is business"

I was doing Oryx last night and the 3 dudes that we pulled in were good friends I guess, they were talking about dropping acid after the raid, one dude said "-blam!- it" and left the party chat and the game, the other two followed.

2 回复I smoke weed all the time and this is the first time I've said it in a destiny setting. It's not hard to mute your mic and nobody cares that you smoke weed, just enjoy and play :)

21 回复I stay high on the love our Lord and savior Jesus. He makes me feel as if I am floating on a cloud of enlightenment every moment of every day. His love is what carries me through the trials with a light heart and a steady aim. I vanquish my enemies in a timely manner knowing that he is shinning his divine presence down on me. His love just fills me with so much joy I am about to burst. Every second of every day I feel like a new person and can do anything. Lets all pray together for divine guidance and spiritual rebirth so that yall can feel his love the same as me and you can abandon your wicked sinful ways and walk in the light of our lord. Remember. Jesus loves all his children. He just loves some of us more than the rest of you.

I never boast about doing destiny under any influence, but I'm a college student that has some days that I can do whatever I want with no responsibilities. I have played this game on weed and once on shrooms. Both were highly enjoyable but id never scream in the mic when I was and I believe if you aren't harming or affecting others, what you do in private should be your business. But no need to think that shit is cool, just the same as being drunk it's no big deal.

117 回复Why doesnt any one think of drugs and substances in the big picture. They down weed for being what its not. Here are some statistics for you if u want to challenge me. Just because something is legal doesnt make it safe. More people die every year from alcohol and pain Od's than most "hardcore" drugs combined. I believe about 47,000 people died from OD's on pain drugs back in 2012 and since that that number has nearly doubled, but hey! Its legal am i right. Weed has never killed any one, [b]EVER[/b]. Alcohol poisoning hit 88,000 last year and thats a low. With all that prescription meds were the cause of over 100,000 deaths just last year. Keep in mind 188,000 people died from [b]LEGAL[/b] drugs and no one from weed. Another fun statistic for you: 440,000 people died from tobacco related reasons and 20,000 due to the [b]HARDCORE[/b] drugs such as heroine and other terrible drugs. These statistics make you question why many of the [b]"legal"[/b] drugs are legal and why weed isnt legal in all places. Do your research before coming to conclusions about whats good and whats bad.
