Fallout 4 for about a month. I was drawn back in with sparrow racing and now I'm stuck here again.

You should. It's easy, there's no limit to how much gear you can get, and once you hit rank 3 and have finished the quest (only takes about 6 hours for the rep) helmets and class items that drop will be between 310-320, and they drop fairly regularly (like, 1 in 3 races regularly).
