Evolution happens. Fact.
The scientific explanation of how it happens is called the scientific theory of evolution.
If you disagree with the scientific theory, and think it was caused through the intervention of some divine entity or some other phenomenon, you bear the burden of proof to show that entity or phenomenon exists. If you cannot, then your idea has no credibility. The scientific theory of evolution has met the burden of proof, that's why its a scientific theory.

If idiots want to say evolution is false, they will need to get smart first and give some credible proof it doesn't exist first. Science is right, even if you don't believe in it, and the great part of science is if something is found to be inaccurate, it is fixed/adjusted with proper proof

1 回复You are correct in that evolution exists... Microevolution, as in different dog types and birds with different beaks ( Darwins first example). But macroevolution ( one species changing into another ie fish to squirrel) does not exist.

1 回复Sorry for having an opinion it doesn't really matter evolution could have happened but how did we start out?

8 回复由Thoth编辑: 12/24/2015 5:30:26 PMI believe the theory of evolution to be somewhat true; I also believe that that we are more than just flesh and bones cursed to live one life only to die and cease to exist for all eternity.

1 回复Evolution is a fact In science, a "fact" typically refers to an observation, measurement, or other form of evidence that can be expected to occur the same way under similar circumstances. However, scientists also use the term "fact" to refer to a scientific explanation that has been tested and confirmed so many times that there is no longer a compelling reason to keep testing it or looking for additional examples. In that respect, the past and continuing occurrence of evolution is a scientific fact. Because the evidence supporting it is so strong, scientists no longer question whether biological evolution has occurred and is continuing to occur. Instead, they investigate the mechanisms of evolution, how rapidly evolution can take place, and related questions. 由Vicex编辑: 12/22/2015 12:14:11 PMI wish someone on this site was an evolutionary biologist so we could put this to rest indefinitely. The bottom line is: if you think evolution is rubbish, you just are not very intelligent or otherwise lack understanding of basic sciences.

1 回复I'm glad you don't bash religion, at least not without using facts. (Not sure if that even counts)
