Good to see you support the changes Siege has brought to the table.
However, how do you feel about the lack of a campaign?

Doesn't really bother me too much. As I said in the OP, I see the lack of a campaign mode as a tradeoff Ubisoft made in order to focus on making a very competent and solid multiplayer shooter. Campaign modes in multiplayer-centric titles these days tend to be hastily made, half-assed and scripted, so I'm not really missing it here. The Situations are there to scratch that singleplayer itch, also functioning to prep players for the real meat and bones of the game. I'd love to see a future Rainbow Six title with a campaign mode focused on tactical squad-based action like the old-school games.

Of course, but they didn't, so all I have to go on is what's there. And what's there is an excellent multiplayer-centric shooter with a heavy emphasis on teamwork, communication, and slow, methodical aiming and movement. Now whether what's there is a good value or worth the $60 is subjective. I think it is, and I don't regret the purchase, but I know some people would feel different. For those people, I'd suggest waiting for a price drop.
