[i] Raine isn't spending one more night cooped up, she gets her gear, mask on, blades sharp.
She feels that familiar rush, maybe tonight will be the night.
It starts slow she stalks the roof tops, travelling north from the sandstone. She picks up her pace breaking into a run, easily clearing the gap to the next building the adrenalin starting to quicken her movements. She finally shakes the apathy from her muscles as she reaches the red light district at the back of the warehouses, no one but scum and dregs. No chance of running into any do gooder. She puts her feelers out, there must be a likely candidate around here somewhere.
There it is a pimp plying his trade, but that's not what catches her eye , an unassuming guy, not bad looking but something in him is broken. Raine follows him going from prospect to prospect. And there it is ,he picks the girl with no pimp.He motions to a yard between the warehouses. He hasn't brought a car?
They look to be getting on with things , but his intentions become clear, quickly as the garotte appears. Raine drops from her perch. Quickly running her blade through his lower vertebrate paralysing him from the waist down. He falls down, Raine strides over to the shaken hooker, and whispers[/i]
" Get out before I kill you myself"

Be careful what you say to her about her mother,,she doesn't know anything about it. infact she just hired a Detective Mercer to look into her mothers disappearance. Look I have worked for the General for 20 years but that girl out there is my priority above all else. I know what the General believes happened that day, truth is none knows,except the two people in that house. one of those isn't talking the other can't. The General believes he is doing the right thing but i will guess he didn't mention his wife trying to drown the child when she was 2 and leaving her on a highway in the middle of the night when she was 3,?[/b]

[b] The General loved his wife, and perhaps because of that he didn't want to speak ill of the dead. Or maybe he feels guilty because he didn't see the signs. I didn't come on the scene til after Isabella died but I'd been working security for the family for 5 years. I heard about Isabella's post natal depression, it developed into post partum. For the record the only person who cared that Raine was a girl was Isabella, she was devastated for some reason. She was also convinced that Raine was possessed by some evil spirit, But she had the best treatment money could buy, And she got better. so everyone thought, She had two slip ups, those I have already mentioned. It was on the second incident I was sent to find Raine. Which I did and I returned her. Once again there were more drs. And all was quiet for over 12 months. Let me just put it out there, but what if it wasn't fine but noone knew. I don't know anything for sure. Yes Raine has a dark streak. and for her pleasure and pain are inextricably linked,which is why she will train till her bones break. Why she insists on getting inside the heads of those hurting or in extreme cases, like in the clearing rooms where she would spend hours with those boys who weren't going to make.She kept them company until they passed on,so i can't begin to imagine what she saw in there. [/b]
