Bungie are shooting themselves in the foot because I for one lost the motivation to collect everything and grind for higher light level. What's the point of becoming this all powerful guardian just for your progress to be wiped. It doesn't bother me now tho, If anything they done me a favour because now I just play for fun (I'd forgotten what that was like lol) instead of being like working a 2nd job.
