To all the people who bitch that challenge mode is too easy, what would you have done differently?

Idk about 100%...that's just prolonging something. That doesn't even make hints hard, just annoying. I would much rather have a boss with ridiculous modifiers than be a bullet sponge. Increased health is artificial difficulty. Doesn't do anything but drive people away.

As well as what was already implemented, halved the timer on the buff stacks. Aura holder would be such a high pressure job, it would be pretty intense. You'd need a good team to really maximise your damage and make sure everyone's super confident leaving it til the very last second to hit ads, even when their timer is halved. I think that would be a legitimately challenging mode, and it'd be a lot of hard work for a lot of teams.

They had to make this "challenge mode" to challenge rest of the player base. Believe it or not but if you have a light level above 315 and have completed the hard raid more than once you are the 1%. The rest of the player base who hasn't done this will find this challenging. People who post on these forums have very screwed opinions because not everyone in this game has the app, aka usually those with the lower light levels who have just singed on to this cancer

If your argument is only a small minority of the player base will complete hard node regularly then why make a challenge mode that all the players who do the raid will do it easily and the players who wont do it regularly still wont do the challenge which makes it pointless other than gear which is another issue entirely

Yeah that's fine, but so far, the challenge mode has been almost exactly as challenging as hard mode. What's the point in including a new difficulty tier if it's not really a step up in difficulty? I get what you're saying, but my point is that the challenge should be a challenge, not something you can casually waltz through on your first ever hm completion. I think that just makes its inclusion redundant, might as well just say "this week, this boss has extra loot" instead of implying some ramp up in difficulty, yknow?
