I haven't made it there ONCE because I keep running into 314s. Now that wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't 299 or I didn't run into 314s so consistently.

The light level advantage isn't noticeable. You're only at like 3-5 percent disadvantage which isn't changing the outcome of any gun fights. Make sure you run all your nightfalls this week and run the banner for the random drops and start infusing your trials gear up.
