Currently, I can never see myself using my exotic slot for this weapon. There are just much better choices currently.
With that I agree with you. A buff is needed, but not to the extent when it becomes more of a scout rifle. It would be nice if you didn't lose the first curse perk if you switch weapons. That isn't even in the tool tip.
Zhalo and Juju are better for trash mobs, which is what this weapon appears to be designed for.

It would never be more of a scout rifle. The high range and impact lets it dabble there. But the fire rate, magazine size and reload time mean that a scout would always win in a long range fire fight, and mid range would be a toss up.

由Fridén编辑: 11/9/2015 10:50:12 PMFair point. I will make this point as well: I have an eyasluna with rangefinder and hammer-forged. For a hand cannon, it ranges is great and I would even argue is rivals the first curse (less the first curse perk active) it has 11 in the barrel (and I don't have to activate triple tap to get 11 shots) a faster reload (MUCH faster) and reactive reload for some addition DPS in the right scenarios. When there is a legendary available that can easily replace and exotic, I see that as an issue (some exotics are situational, such as touch of malice, but that is different.) This gun needs something, just don't go too far like they did with the thorn. I love the design of this gun and it's perk has so much potential. It really seems like they held it back though as to not make it over powered. Perks that only proc on minions of the darkness are a way around this.

由Mikey编辑: 11/10/2015 1:51:16 AMWhat would you think about the First Curse perk being a second or two of increased stability and fire rate after each critical hit? Both the stability and fire rate could be tweaked so that it slightly outclassed legendary hand cannons in the same impact class. I realize that this won't be implemented, but I'm just curious what others think.

由Fridén编辑: 11/10/2015 2:09:19 PMThe idea for the first curse to proc on hit is a great idea. Maybe increasing the fire rate after each critical hit. A faster reload would be warranted as well in that case. I would be up for just about anything though. Right now it just sits in my vault.
