The Destiny universe's sense of time is based on the quantum mechanics theory that every option creates a seperate timeline that exists equal to our own (Shrondinger's Cat was both alive and dead, and each universal conclusion was both equal and valid). Like a spider on a web, the Stranger and the Vex can step between them. Like [i]parting a veil[/i], the FWC can see between them. The ties between these realities is the Vex network, which traps Praedyth and is a river for Osiris to pass through. The space between these worlds, I believe, is the grand room big enough to house everything and seven blue suns. This is the homeworld of the Traveler- whatever it is. My belief of the Awoken is this (and it contains something you forgot between the Queen and the Wolf Kell): Every one of these universes contains different iterations of the same person. Shrondinger's Cat was alive in one reality and dead in another, both were equally valid. If the magical powers that traverse all of these universes were to clash, along with a massive amount of energy caused by Rasputin's explosions. Then the realities, in this explosion, may have clashed in the ripples of power. Shrodinger's alive cat may have existed together with Shrodinger's dead cat. During the pre-battle conversation between the Wolf Kell and the Queen, he calls to Awoken. Saying "I AM LORD OF WOLVES, [u]YOU ARE AN EMPTY THING WITH TWO DEAD SOULS[/u]. THIS IS MY HOUSE. THESE ARE MY TERMS. SURRENDER AND I WILL ONLY TAKE YOUR SHIPS." This is obviously referincing how they walk the line between Light and Dark and are made of both, but I venture to say the clash of sides is how these people, that were originally humans, came back with neon faces.
