Let it out, don't make big changes if the separation is fresh.
My wife left me after 13 years together, i put my dreams on hold to put her through law school, after her career was launched and I'd found a job I enjoyed with the career choices I'd had to make, she left me for a partner at her firm. Completely blindsided but here I am two years later, back on my feet. I started loving my job again a little over a month ago, I'm also starting to feel like living again.
My point is;
If you liked what you do and who you were before she got all dramatic, don't change until you find yourself again.
