Great that you mention that because actually it is. It's classified as an anime on Crunchyroll, Japan has officially labeled it as an anime, & it's getting a Japanese dub version. [spoiler] which I can't wait for. It's gonna be amazing [/spoiler] So all in all I do believe that, despite some hard core anime fans vehement opinions, Rwby can be officially classified as an anime.
