No, when I use a nova bomb, I don't want a random player to get close and stop my triple kill, or a thrall to get too close and stop me from destroying a huge group of ads. I want my nova bomb to land where I aim it.

That doesn't make much of a difference. What I'n trying to get at is the point that any single ad or guardian can get kinda close to the nova bomb and stop it short of hitting where it was supposed to go. Normally this is harder to do because you literally need to body-check the nova bomb, but with proximity detonation it would be easier to stop the supers.
