I can't really describe it without spoiling it, but here goes. Yuki is a part of the Living at School Club, a group who loves school so much they literally live there (and yet she manages to be late to class...). The first episode focuses on her and her friend searching for the club's dog in the school, and Yuki is mortified at her friend's blatant disregard for the other classes they search in. Despite any horrors she may face, Yuki remains strong, confident, and unsettlingly optimistic. There are a lot of small details that are easy to miss, but it all makes sense if you watch the first episode a second time. I know it sounds...lame, but it is worth the watch. The ending almost had me in tears.
