The way its set up is slightly different but its all the same ideas, except borderlands implemented it better.

Really? I think you're just trying to defend this game, im not saying destiny is a bad game but theres no originality. Everything from the perk trees to elemental weapons to artifacts to loot chests etc was all done before in borderlands, borderlands simply made a better job of it. Put it this way...If borderlands had MP, some mmo elements added would you really be playing this game? I know i wouldnt & neither would alot of other ppl. Destiny is just the reskinned newer version & we all know how much bungie like to reskin things & then advertise as new.

Not defending at all. But I can sure as hell say Border Lands was a whole lot more boring than Destiny. But that is just me. Border Lands to me was way overhyped, but so was Destiny. But I can say I didn't get bored of Destiny as fast as I was bored of Border Lands.

Im still not bored of borderlands even after all this time, destiny is getting played less & less. Not because destiny is a bad game but just shoddy implementation, there simply doesn't seem to be a point to anything. Grind for hrs just to get mediocre weapons/gear & then you have the elitism that the game breeds, the elitists aren't ppl i wanna hang around in a game i play for fun.
