Why are Day One Destiny players such douches?

I have yet to meet one that isn't a douche. In most MMO's, the older players are helpful, not obnoxious children. Or is it their only major milestone in life?

Not all of us are. Most of us have just mearly spent so much time into destiny that we have become efficient in what we do so we just try to get things done but sometimes that can come across negatively.
