To me, it's not so much that the elemental primaries are gone. It's just that, other than the machine gun, the raid weapons are "meh" at best. There's a breakdown in weapon progression in TTK, rare's are better than commons, legendaries are better than blues (for the most part), then you have some exotics that have a worthy place in slot over some legendaries and then raid weapons fail at replacing anything, they aren't even really needed for the raid. IMO, Bungie needs to re-do them. All of them. Every single one i've had drop, other than the MG has been used to infuse. I don't care so much about the element damage just give me a raid weapon that makes me say "I need that!!"
