I Just Lost My Best Friend
[spoiler]Dog not Person[/spoiler]
Today, just a couple of hours ago, I lost my best friend. He was a true mans best friend, but died because of someone else's stupid ignorance, who didn't even stay for longer than 2 min.
The hardest part was seeing him so quiet and thinking "I never said goodbye"
To everyone out there, cherish the moments you have with not just your pets, but with your loved ones as well, because you will never know when they will be taken from you.

Thanks to everyone who are supporting me right now, this day turned upside down in an instant. Gucci (my dog) was taken by me to the animal hospital to be cremated, it was so hard to see him go.
It's amazing how much someone can cry :/
He was 15 lbs
A Yorkie/Poodle mix
5 and a half years old
Loved to travel, went across the states with me, beach, wanted to go for rides whenever possible
Hated when you left, loved when you came back

I have purchased 2 puppies today. A Poomeranian and another Yorkiepoo.
I want to say a BIG thanks to everyone who has shown me sympathy for my loss, which has allowed me to go on when things seemed tough. I NEVER thought the Flood could be so nice (except for the few trolls) and I extend my appreciation towards those who understood what I was going through, I wish I could repay all of you in some fashion or form.

It typically cripples dogs until they cannot walk and has a pretty much automatic mortality rate. But the dog actually seems to have fought through it. The meds cost 250 a month. It was suggested I put him down right after they diagnosed him but I stuck through it luckily. Dogs are very hard to let go

Sucks he got hit. But obviously no0t the drivers fault. I have dogs and I know it is my responiblity to make sure they cannot leave my house or yard without me because I know they would get hit by a car And as for him leaving what would you want him to do? Stay around after he killed your dog? How awkward would that be and Im also sure he feltlike somplete shit aswell

Man that sucks.. I know the feel. A few years ago it happened with my favorite cat. I loved her to death and then one day she got hit by a car too. She was so smart and always carefully crossed the road. We were so sad to let her go that way.. I was fully out for 2 weeks. Didn't want to do anything. I actually thought about putting an end to my life as well because I missed her so friggin much. We got a lot of cats who died by getting hit by a car. It fucking sucks! We have 4 cats now and I hope to God that they all just die of old age instead of an accident.

1 回复Yesterday we (me and my dad) had to rush my dog to an emergency pet hospital and I thought my dog was going to die. Fortunately he has seemed to of pulled through.

1 回复I lost my best friend (A person) to Cancer, he was 21. Our parents were long time friends so we basically knew each other from birth. It's terrible. Also lost my Dog for 2 days because of someone else's sheer stupidity, luckily she managed to find her way home again (Min Pin). Yeah.. Worst 2 days of my life. It's amazing how much love you can u have for such a small animal. Sorry About your loss OP.
