Reasons you wouldn't want to be immortal
Scientists.

They'd "kill" you over and over again to see what you could survive [/spoiler]

You'd have to find an amazing source of income. Something on the down low & you'd have to move around a lot. I guess you have the opportunity to learn a lot & meet a shit ton of people. On the down side, you'd watch them age and then die. Lonely again.
