I don't think we could have evolved from apes because under the short amount of time, we had earned too much knowledge and evolved far too quickly. Why aren't our life form extinct if we evolved from such a weak life form and are still weak compared to other forms of life? There can't really be a "God" that created us because I doubt our life form could have come to existence out of nowhere or from microorganisms because of our complexity.
