Unfortunately no, but new features and items will be added over Halo 5's life.

Im not really bummed out by it because i will be playing matchmaking for a long time but my friend who complains about everything will most likely drop the game the first week. He only cares about forge and campaign he doesnt like halo pvp.

He could just get the game when Forge comes out then.
