Thanks for this. I too would like an in-game way to view all this stuff; there's plenty of time (during load screens and whatnot) to take a look at the grimoire, and missing out on this stuff really is a loss, in my opinion. Destiny's gameplay speaks for itself, but the mythology they've created is also fascinating, and really helps to draw you further into the game (especially when you're in one of the raids). A good story/setting goes a long way in wrapping you up in a game, and the fact that it's so difficult (relatively speaking) to learn what's going on is a shame.
