Still find it crappy how we are being forced to play PvP for some of these guns

I'm the same. I agree with some weapons having pvp parts to the quests. What about the poor pvpers who are forced to play pve content to get their hands on all the other exotics? I think it's only fair, and I hate crucible with a passion. Trying for the chaperone at the min and man is it boiling my blood lol
