Hi Ethrad,
The quest text is incomplete. The thrall must be killed on the Hive Dreadnought (not including the Court of Oryx). See this help article: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13522

When I completed it I get credit (I don't even have to turn in, it does it automatically) then I completed next mission, I think it's loot wormspore or whatever. When I complete that it shows up on screen that I completed it. WHEN I CHECK THE MISSION IT ALWAYS SAYS SAME THING, kill 3 cursed.........
