Wait until you get your next vanguard level with its level 40 gear reward. I certainly felt some loss there.

That's where I got my Chest Piece and Hand Cannon. But I'm going to buy TTK so I don't really feel the loss. Although players who don't have TTK should probably get gear they can actually use like pre 2.0 gear.

See, I wish more people could see this difference. So many who can't or won't upgrade immediately are still customers. They still put up the sales dollars that made DLC possible, and they deserve some respect from Bungie. I don't feel that the gut job that year one got shows that respect. I'm going to get TTK as well, but until then, the game just makes me sad to look at.
