How's Everyone Liking The Taken King So Far?
Just wanted to know how everyone is enjoying the expansion..I'm one of the few out there that didn't buy it but I'm still interested to hear other people's opinions on it so far..
Who knows, I might be persuaded to buy it

Completely caught off guard. There was more substance in the first mission and cutscenes than there was in the entire base game and two expansions combined. The new enemies are also very cool and have interesting tactics. Never thought I'd fangirl about this game, ever... Why couldn't Destiny have been this way from the start?! [i]Why, Bungie?![/i]

It's been very enjoyable so far. The DLC storyline is amazing, and I'm not even half-way done with it. The cutscenes aren't random crap that no one cares about anymore, and everyone in the tower now has a lot more personality, and you actually are more attached to them. They're not just the stupid people sitting around a table that sell you junk gear. The quest system was a great choice, it gives you way more reason to go to the tower. It's not nearly as easy as a bounty, but it's a ton of fun, and gives you some pretty sick rewards most of the time. I can't give a full review on everything since I haven't completed the story yet, but this time, the hype for the DLC seems genuinely worth it.

Love the campaign so far. It's good enough to play hard mode after I hit the required light level. Love the cut scenes. They really did a great job making it a more cinematic experience. There are holes you can poke in the plot throughout, but I think that's inevitable because the bad writing dug them in really deep in the first place. It's good.

I think it's really good although I do wish the story missions started on a higher level. One other thing, if the queen can shoot out those balls of lightning fire, I don't see why she needs a guardian. Maybe we are just jesters.

This is the start of something great, they have fixed a lot of problems. New enemies aren't so boring, they're popping bubbles and shooting mortar like shit at me. It's crazy! Really loving the story telling and cutscenes. Destiny is definitely headed the right way. Only complaint is the max ammo capacity on hand cannons in PvE. Find myself running out of primary a lot of I use one. Definitely worth the buy though.

5 回复Salty that I've been at work for almost 10 hours now and haven't been able to play. Not much longer though and then I'll be smoking a fat bowl, making a god damn french bread pizza and playing the shit out of this dlc.

4 回复Killed Oryx. Got a Legendary auto rifle with stats better than Suros Regime. It was fun, but he died really quickly for a level 39.8 Guardian. I hope it gets hard soon... Only disappointed with the Green guns from the Collectors Edition Suros Ammo Pack. Lesson learned. Never pre-order.
