I found an Artari at a yard sale with a controller and a power cord. My Dad found pretty much every popular game and then some. We never found an AV cord.
Well of course you didn't find an AV cord, TVs didn't have AV hookups...we used RF switches back in the day. LOL
You can probably find an Atari RF switch on Ebay or Amazon if you bought the rest of the stuff. Or maybe they've made AV adapters and converters now for it.
Compuserve, non-existent company now lol, was one of the first online subscription services that I remember having games in the early 90s.
I'm sure there were other companies that offered online gaming of some sort, but I don't recall any being around in the 80s.
It was something like 10 bucks a month for 5 hours and then 2 bucks each additional hour.
I remember hearing about people who had 500 dollar monthly bills. I was smart enough not to do that or my parents would have kicked my ass.
I'm in the UK and it was my first computer.. It was my parent's idea to get Internet. They were there when we signed up.
Back then, I didn't even know what to use Internet for! Lol
