So in a video I JUST watched of DPJ's (yes I realize it's a few days old), DPJ mentions the possibility of an entirely new set of gear to be dropped in the Vault, and Crota's End. He mentioned data miners from back when we had just VoG normal, when they found 2 pieces of gear. I'll include a link of DPJ's exact video afterwards, but first of all, I wanted to discuss this. As DPJ says, according to facts now, VoG, CE, and PoE, are almost being left behind. With light level no longer being our main level, that leaves this old gear completely irrelevant. But honestly, is there any gaming producer (save EA) who would utterly abandon such large parts of their game just like that? If this is so, that means we will only have 1 raid, and that's it. And to be frank, no matter how odd Bungie gets, they won't get that broken. I do believe, as DPJ speculates, New gear sets in our old raids. Yes, The Taken King is a 'new game' as quoted by Bungie officials, but that doesn't mean this old stuff is being left behind. At least I don't think it makes sense...
