I personally like the 90's or 2000's because of third wave ska and decent pop rock/punk. What do you guys think?

My favorite artists are Pink Floyd, the Who and David Bowie, all of whom did their best work in the 70's (in my opinion). I mean, Pink Floyd had Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall, all in the 70's. You just can't beat that.

3 回复I have no favorite era, I enjoy all music that is pleasant to listen to. Different moods call for different tunes. For some examples: My friend owns a lake house and when all of our friends go up their every 4th of July, the week is strictly "dad tunes." Which includes massive amounts of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Creedence Clearwater Revival, some Isley Brothers, Gladys Knight and the Pips, etc. Shit you listen to if you were born in the 60's. Some good shit man. If I'm playing poker with my friends, it's Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. Partying? Waka Flocka, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Future, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Diplo, etc. Alone, doing some thinking? Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Logic, MF DOOM, Atmosphere, Asher Roth, various deep house artists, Metallica, some ska/reggae-rock, Third Eyed Blind, The Offspring, etc. I don't like to constrict myself in one genre, although I would say I'm predominantly a rap listener, and I really enjoy the direction modern rap is going, a number of lyricists getting big recognition, which in turn influences future music.
