I Beilive the Beta testers were underapprisiated, I myself being one of them with the release of the taken kingh this is Bungie chance to make it up i think it would be nice to have a ghost that only beta testers can get. This ghost wouldnt be anything to special it would be a nice color palet maybe, gold, white and red. also it would have a random bounuse to it.
