And why are there so many "fat" comments? Why are you trying to make this guy feel bad about how this girl may look? This community can be a real dick.

This comment would be said in any community. If he isn't ready for the possibility of her being fat, then he should be skyping or getting pics as future proof. Otherwise, learn to deal with the "love of your life" being hefty.
