We only use these tactics because the game forces us to replay the same content over and over. We want to get it done ASAP. So what if I keep getting critical hits over and over with Black Hammer to get a strike I have already played 40 times over quicker?
Strictly speaking PvE, of course. I agree based on PvP.

Yeah I see exactly where you're coming from. I'm mostly PvE myself, in fact, most of my early game time was farming strike playlist. I understand that you wanna get by quicker and even I'm guilty of running through and skipping areas just to get to that boss we hate so much. I just feel we should implement more raid-like mechanics to make the strikes more enjoyable. Which is exactly what Bungie has said they're doing. I look forward to the future of Destiny, this past year of farming the strikes has made me almost despise them.

Exactly. Farming for a couple of Exotics is all I remember about my first year. There were some great times sprinkled in there, but the grind is way to much of a shadow over them. Sad to think about. I hope they change that for year 2. We'll see.
