Hyped is not the correct word here. The devs saying in the course of a few minuyes that they want you to be able to upgrade the weapons and armor so you can forge the guardian unique to you and then contradicting this by saying...oh yeah year 2 stuff only. I know bungie wants us to try out the new toys but this is plain stupid imo.

Well think about it this way. If everybody said i would rather use my stuff i have now then whats the point of adding new weapons? So say they dont add any new weapons ao you just baught new missions and activites without having the reward of news weapons.

Sure they are. You want the use an upgraded (insert weapon name). Buy the expansion.... Dont get me wrong. I am not the person who wants to use the same weapons for 10 years. I dont even use the OP weapons like FB, BH and so forth But I want to use my old stuff from time to time. Buying every expansion sjould add to my collection not replace all my gear. I know in mmo land this is normal. But this isnt an mmo. Its a shared world shooter That means FPS with RPG sauce. Just nerf the old OP raid weapons and we are all good to use a Shadow Price for example

Lol. No not really. Its an fps + at most. And I am perfecly fine with that. Its targeted at casuals. I always has been. I play to relax and have a good time with my friends. This is what destiny is created for and it works pretty well in that regard
