Over the years I've come across alot if unique and wierd gamertags and psn usernames. So I thought I would make a post and see how you guys came up with them.
I created mine about 10 years ago when I was big into the game runescape. I really wanted it to be "awhisperinthedark" but it was taken already and I really didn't want to have number in my name. But after trying for a good hour with different variations I made mine darkvoice7 and had to settle with a number at the end which was my favourite number. Since then it's the one I use for all online games, and I use darkvoice8 for forums and stuff.
If we can get this trending and keep it trending then maybe we can get deej and cozmo to tell us how they got/came up with their names.
Edit: alot of these are really unique :-) it's cool to see how certain things outside of games can have an effect on how people made their names.
Edit2: over 150 replies wow! I honestly wasn't expecting that many :-) thanks to everyone for contributing. Im enjoying reading them, and I'm sure other people are too :-)

A band called NonExist has a song called A halo Askew. One of the few song I like. The singer is the old vocals for arch enemy so that's how I found that band. I liked arch enemies earlier stuff. One of my fave bands back in the day. I tied it together and added ed. AhaloAskewed.

My buddy and I made our accounts when we were 11 and he had "Careless" in the beginning of his name, so we thought it would be cool to be the "CarelessClan" or something. The Rook part is named after the Chess Piece of the same name, simply because I like that piece and 117 is self explanatory.

由JSDFREEDOM89编辑: 9/12/2015 1:10:35 AMMy name is Justin. I grew up with two close friends, Stanley and Damien. We built a little "hut" out in the woods and over the door was a sign we made that said J-S-D Freedom, as that "hut" was our freedom from everything else going on in the world They both died in a car accident shortly after I went off to college. My gamertag is kind of a tribute / memorial to them. Has been for almost a decade now.

I wanted a word without symbols or numbers, almost impossible to have a gamertag that way that isn't taken. Narcodium isn't a real word, but when I thought of it I was 13, it was 1996-97 and I was taking an interest in ( not taking ) narcotics and their effects on the mind. At the time I dubbed the euphoric state some people experienced on narcotics as "narcodium"... Years later when I signed up for Xbox live, no one thought of it or coined it so used it... I still like it, sounds more of an alien element to me now

When I was younger me and my cousins went to laser tag a lot and this was what I used as the codename they. Been I also use "Aylin Moondown" a lot because that was the name of my first DnD character. I don't really remember how i came up with either of them though.
