Listen ISIS can easily be beaten. Correct me if I'm wrong but we got Syria, Iran, and U.S. wanting them gone. I feel a strategy could be in order. Each keep to themselves in their own battlefield, but team up. Risky yes but think about it? It could cause [b]some[/b] ease with Iran.

I've argued in the past that Iran and the US could make somewhat a team -- and i dont necessarily disavow that stance -- but do keep in mind US interests in the situation are nothing like Iranian interests. The two converge with shared opposition to IS, but that's it.

Indeed. But part of what makes it so challenging is that no one's interests in the region align with the US'. While this need not always be a barrier, oftentimes the interests of potential partners there directly contradicts what the US is looking to achieve. Turkey for example has shown that its supreme interest is to destroy the PKK as well as the PYD, whereas the US has shown a preference to work with the latter and turn a blind eye toward the former.
