Never really cared for it. It was cool but I'm not gonna do a 180 on the game. Its a reboot not a continuation. People are always saying that its gonna be a Battlefield reskin but fail to open their eyes to see that they were already identical in the first place.

You have to remember that we aren't getting the core game of Battlefront, which is playing against the AI. Its just a rip-off from the IP. If their gonna reboot something, at least keep the foundation. You don't see a comic book reboot and having all origin stories scrapped to be remade into something they weren't.

I see what you mean. And you know, while I agree Battlefront will be a huge disappointment (like most recent Dice titles), it is for different reasons. Battlefront PC had a huge online population. In this way, the game is a fine addition. Its not the consoles that have been robbed, its that consoles have changed to mimic a pseudo-PC online gaming audience. The days of AI combat and couch multiplayer are ignored by everyone now, but few indie devs and Nintendo. So, battlefront changed to follow its market.

What you've seen is what you get. The game won't feature anything that made the old BF feel unique. Were getting a new Battlefield themed with SW and slightly different gameplay. Not excited to see the game coming back butchered by EA to make a quick buck.

Let's see. Core gameplay of original series? Check. MP? Check. Epic battles? Check. Star Wars? Check. Seems fine. Just because it doesn't include features from previous installments doesn't mean it isn't the same thing anymore. Besides it's a reboot not a sequel.

Well, why else people loved Battlefront? It wasn't for the MP as you can clearly see from Op post. Galactic conquest wasn't in Mp so it couldn't have been MP. Its like Battlefield. Why do you think people love it? Is it because of its SP? People love a game because of their foundation not because of something else the devs wanted to include as bonus.
