What was the point of House of Wolves...
...if all of the legendary weapons that I spent the last three months to get up to standard, as well as all of the Prison of Elders weapons I bought, are now obsolete?
I don't appreciate investing so much time into 1) running raids and PoE to maybe possibly get these weapons, 2) running more PoE to get the materials to upgrade them, and 3) run Iron Banner in order to gt more said weapons and more said materials to upgrade said weapons...just so they can be cast aside and rendered obsolete in a mere matter of what, four months?
I would have spent my time doing something else if I had known that all of my time, effort, and in-game resources were leading to a dead end.
That's not cool, guys.

1 回复Lol grinding VoG for that one armour piece for level 30 Grinding crota for level 32 Grinding Etheric light for max level and 34 All the grinding which was real was all for nothing. That was year 1. New players come in to the forum and wonder why there's so much negativity and whinging. Lets not forget about those who posted Nerf Posts are now back whinging about nerfs.

We played the game We voiced our opinions We helped them balance both the PvP and PvE sides of the game They now know what's too weak, what's too strong They have had time to work out the bugs They have realized how important an in depth story is to us They have learned our breaking point and how much /little they need to give. We played a beta and it cost us 100 bucks So what it was a lot of fun! We helped create this amazing world that we are about to enter! Destiny year 2 is gunna be awesome. Starting with the taken king I believe you are going to see more than we imagined! Does it feel like date r*pe? Yea a little, it feels a little slimy that we payed to test the game. But from here on out I just know that this will be the destiny we have all been waiting for! P.S look bungie come clean about this. Just give us something as a thank you at no cost YEAR ONE PLAYERS DESERVE MORE THAN AN EMBLEM!

Well hopefully we get upgraded versions of the queens bow Lord of wolves of dregs promise or else no one will be going after them anymore and they've only been out 4 months and one month since they fixed Poe 35 so it's easier to do.

3 回复It's simple really make new weapons that can compete with old ones and then leave it up to US what we want to use I don't see any one use prison weapons cause they are garbage shank and dreg burn are horrible perks but trials weapons are amazing and fun to use that can compete with vog and crota weapons

7 回复The whole thing became 100% meaningless, at least on the PVE side, the second they admitted that the end-game weapons were not upgradeable. I got 3 skolas weapons and wanted more ( not that they are that great) but why bother now?

Haven't you noticed the repetitiveness of the fixes and the dlc's? Auto rifle is being over used, so we are nerfing. Oh, so those that have been wanting the Suros can now forget about it? then... Autoo rifles aren't being used much so we are going to buff it. DLC 1: Sorry you can't upgrade VOG stuff, you need new stuff (outrage) DLC 2: We are sorry, we learned our lesson, so you will be able to upgrade your weapons and armor (Hoops and hollers, Yea!) Then TTK, oh, well we don't think you should use old stuff, so you can't upgrade it, but we are going to provide you with better stuff (trust us, we know what is best for you.)

I sometimes wonder how nobody ever sees this coming. Every dlc that has come brings you to grinding. Destiny is basically centered arround grinding. We also have to remember that they wanted to make this game rpg based. And rpgs are all about grinding. You worked hard on something and next thing you know, you're already at a level where you should get something else to grind on to move forward. It comes with the teritory. It also extends playtime for players.

Too many players in this thread are fixated on the damage of the guns. I want to raid weapons to be upgraded for the following reasons 1) give players a reason to play older pve content. VOG, Crota, and Poe will make up 75% of the end game content. Without the drive to run older content TTK will get old and stale fast. Happened in TDB. 2) Raid weapons have elemental damages that help in nightfalls, weeklies, and TTK raids. 3) Bungie weapon designers must make newer better weapons than the older raid weapons. If the older weapons are upgraded it gives us a metric to hold them up against. I'm not asking Bungie to make TTK raid weapons more powerful but be more creative with the perks. pvp players are saying pve raid weapons will still be relevant in IB and crucible. Other than found verdict most players don't use raid weapons in crucible. They use crucible/vendor weapons or thorn.

1 回复It was obviously bungie showing how they "respect the players time", like DeeJ said in his video. Respect = letting us waste time running in a circle to ascend our fav weapons. Then leaving them behind when any actual content comes out to use them on. GARBAGE

1 回复I think it just means we've been playing wrong. I guess we aren't meant to get consumed with this game. We apparently are only meant to play one day a week, and put zero effort or time into leveling the gear we get(after putting in a lot of time and effort obtaining them). They fabricate an addiction and obsession over gear. Then say stop using you -blam!-ing junkie! We should have seen it coming with the pitiful storage I guess. I'm trying to stay excited for TK But it sure pisses me off that they are so lazy on balancing that they'd rather shit in our face and say "now do it again!" Raid weapons should be able to be ascended dammit. Once again thank pvp and those whiney -blam!-s!
