Your assuming all men do that. To be completely honest, I've had some bad experiences with women in game, but that was twice, and it wasn't a huge deal. I think most people just have triggers, and i guess gender is some peoples triggers. Everyone has triggers. Some active (yelling, screaming, name calling, threading ect), and others passive (guilt, internal anger, sadness ect). I can get down if I see anyone who sounds like my ex, but it's passive. It's just the old saying "a few rotten apples spoils the bunch".
