Upgrading to Xbox One TODAY HELP
Hi so I'm about to buy an Xbox One right now. I currently play Destiny on Xbox 360.
[b]ARE MY CHARACTERS AND GEAR TRANSFERABLE[/b]
I'm being told different things by different people.
Also, If I bought Destiny on disc for 360 but have both DLC's digitally, what do I need to buy for Xbox One today?

If you purchased a Physical Edition or Digital post Jan 15th, you must rebuy the game, but if you bought a Digital Edition before Jan 15th, you should be able to use the [b][url=https://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade]Digital Upgrade[/url][/b] to transfer it for free. Currently, you are able to use the [b][url=https://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade]Digital Upgrade[/url][/b] to transfer your DLC from last gen ------> current gen. Lastly, Any Pre-Order content, or items redeemed by codes are linked to the console that they were used on. 3 回复I have 360 and Xbox One. I started on 360 in Feb '15 and bought the expansion pass too. About a month ago I bought Destiny on Xbox One. My characters and stuff transferred fine. You can actually switch back and forth. The progress is logged. The DLC also transferred. The only thing you need to do is go to the destination screen and then select "Purchase" on the DLC. Bungie being Bungie they don't make it too clear. So in order to access and get your dlc to work on Xbox One you just need to click on "purchase" AND THEN it'll give you option to install.

I cannot find an official Bungie article on this, and a lot of websites are saying different things - like that I can't get the free digital copies for Xbox one anymore because it was a limited time offer? Also one of my friends told me they were forced to start over upon upgrading from 360 - One? I don't want to start over and I don't want to lose all my stuff.
