Let's be honest and not be fanboys. Master chief is strong with big armor and muscles, and is handy with guns. But how does that stand against a nova bomb or celestial nighthawk shot? Be completely honest.

Did you not read my response? I said that Chief would be too fast to hit whether it be a super, rifle, or any other type of weapon. He was created to be a war machine whereas a guardian is a corpse found lying amidst a pile of rubble who is deemed to have "light". Chief was made for this whereas a guardian was simply salvaged potential. Plus, a guardian would have to rely on pure gunskill and hope they survive long enough to even acquire a super.

Take a thorn and shoot chief. The tick will affect him regardless of whether the bullet hits his flesh. Using a tether (which also does significant damage) and a smoke bomb would make Chief unable to do jack shit. Then the Guardian could place a spike grenade on chief, which would do rapid and direct damage. A fusion rifle would easily deal large damage to chief, and a cluster bomb rocket launcher wouldn't help his chances. I know chief is strong and fast, but what would he honestly do against someone just as durable who has better gear?

They have flashlights and night vision built into their helmets. You can shoot spike grenades out of the air. Fusions rifles and just kill a Guardian. Cluster rockets? He would throw the rocket back at you. Someone who has better gear, really?

Guardians have amped muscular capabilities as well, along with a wider variety of weapons that are more powerful than what chief carries. It's no question that chief is more badass, but he simply isn't as powerful as a guardian.
