Cut Content: Proof that the Prison of Elders was supposed to be a raid.
Bungie cut content. They completely scrapped the PoE raid idea and made it into a stupid arena. I have proof. The Winter's Run strike explicitly states:
[i]"Those Fallen.. On the Ishtar sink on Venus.. Story is they raided the prison of elders[/i]
[i]raided the prison of elders[/i]
[u]RAIDED[/u]
Wow Bungie how could you just totally treat your loyal day one players like that!!! you care more about the fallen than you do your loyal fans!!! Deleting all my characters. I'm done.
Edit: I can see people getting angry over my proof of Bungie's mishaps, in response I've decided to do absolutely nothing.

Dude it sayd the fallen raided the PoE, it says nothing of us raiding in PoE. The "raid" for HoW was always named "The Arena" just no content was ever released about it. If you think about it, Pilot Sevetior and Skolas are Fallen bosses, and the game counts PoE as a raid since it gives you the trophy for beating a raid, the first time you clear it. Every raid was a type of horde mode if you think about it, PoE it is just more profound then in others.

Captain: I'll take the relic, you shoot the oracles Vandal to dreg: you heard him, shoot the oracles. Dreg: ok Vandal: hurry up, shoot them! Dreg: I can't! Captain: CMON guys! *succumb to oracles* Vandal: damn it Charlie, I told you to shoot them. Captain: Charlie, does your shock pistol have oracle disruptor?
